Why do people think Cristiano ronaldo is a bad guy?

ok look Cristiano Ronaldo may have bad judgement on when it's a foul or not so why do sooooo many people hate him?

RONALDO is fricken cute but he has this thing about him? can u answer that for me to becuz i dont know what it is?

i agree he dives but i think he dives because he gets fed up of all the other players ganging up on him and having no support frm his team mates

is the press over reacating about him?

There is a big difference between thinking someone is a bad guy and merely being critical of one aspect of his game. He is a very good player but he lacks maturity and discipline. And yes, the other teams do tend to double and triple team him but guess what - they do the same thing to other really good players. And you would be right to point out that he is not the only one to take a dive here or there its just that he does it more frequently and its so obvious but the real kicker is how he pouts when the ref sees it for what it is and doesn't call a foul. Instead of jumping up and getting back into the game he pouts and its very unflatering. He will come around - he's young. Guess you could say that in the world of sports he's going through his awkward adolescent years behaviorally but I have confidence that as he matures people's opinions about him will change as well.

I think the obvious reason is because of his diving and faking. I know a lot of people do this but not quite to the extent that he does. Plus, he's suppose to be this amazing footballer when in actuality....if he was truly amazing then he wouldn't need to cheat. Simple as that. Who the hell really cares if he's cute (which he isn't). I don't like the portuguese team but if you guys were truly supporters of them, then why focus all your attention on Ronaldo and his appearance rather than Maniche or Ricardo's actual talent. Quit talking about him like he actually matters. If he looked like Ricardo would you guys be bombarding everyone with questions about him?

i love the guy but i do believe that sometimes he does "dive" in and fakes a fall....thats the reason y ppl really really dislike him. He is not the only player who does this though, just about every player does this at one point or another. Personally i think c. Ronaldo is an awesome player with excellent skills...and on top of that, he is so damn cute!

The people who hate him are those whining England fans. They need to blame the red card on someone other than their own player so they blame it on the brilliant C. Ronaldo. Rooney was playing rubbish and for that challenge he made he should have been sent off. It's always the same thing every world cup in England. They're too crap to win so they need someone to blame and they'll keep talking about it for the next 20 years.

Hey he's only 21 years old, he'll probably just grow out of it. Anyway everyone (including those crazy English fans) will eventually forget about England vs Portugal match. Just like people have forgotten about the David Beckham red card a few world cup's ago and Totti's spitting incident.

Football should be about sportsmanship - which he ruins by diving. Diving bends the rules, as it breaks up play and forces free kicks where there shouldn't be

Because he cheats.Pure and simple.He is a disgace to Portugal who have said goodbye to their best player in Figo.He has tarnished a fantasically well run World cup with his theatrics.
