Bishop Peric has stated: "Therefore I responsibly call upon those who claim themselves to be 'seers', as well as those persons behind the 'messages', to demonstrate ecclesiastical obedience and to cease with these public manifestations and messages in this parish. In this fashion they shall show their necessary adherence to the Church, by neither placing private “apparitions” nor private sayings before the official position of the Church."

It's a simple litmus test in the Church, confirmed by centuries of practical experience:  if the apparitions are true, they'll stop now.

whats your point ? i think there is so much good to be done, the church should spend a little time on what good they can do for the world in general . i love God ,but i have been let down by the people that run my church and it has caused me to practice my belief a different way.

(You read Jimmy Akin? That is a great site!).

Personally, I haven't done enough study in the matter. It does't interst me very much. However, from what I know Medjugorje is problematic for several reasons as Mr. Akin and others note. It is good to see that a Bishop is involved in the matter (regardless) as private revelations need to be dealt with instead of just sliding. Medjugorje is important enough (or I should say large enough) that it requires a Vatican decision and hopefully, if what I have been reading and Bp Peric is speaking at the prodding/request/suggestion of the Vatican, that will come soon. Either way, I remain open.

Why post this?. It doesn't endear fellow Catholics or anyone else to the religion. Glad that you are so gung ho about your faith. But this really isn't the place for it.
