My 10 year old wants to take band this school year so he can play in middle school as well. My daughter plays the flute and french horn but, these are not an easy instrument for him. So we were wondering what were the easier to learn to play blow instruments?

He would love to play drums but, you have to already have two years percussion experience.

i think the easiest "woodwind" instrument to play is the clarinet. i played for two and a half years, and it was a breeze. it's easier to handle than the flute and less complicated than the french horn.:)

The kazoo is perhaps the finest device to play because all you may want to do is hum into it. As for a extra serious answer, i'd say it relies upon on your pastimes. studying guitar willbe less difficult for you than playing accordian once you've a strong favor to play guitar. i'd propose that you bypass to a music save and attempt some diverse gadgets - guitars, drums, keyboards, wind intruments (flute, recorder, sax, clarinet, trombone, etc.) to work out what you hit upon maximum comfortable. Then, you could lease (from an excellent style of places) one to work out when you're positive earlier you spend an excellent style of money on paying for an device. you may want to need to consider how straight forward that's to carry your selected device round with you - a pipe organ, case in factor, is fantastically puzzling to bypass. you could also want to seem at how a lot a strong high quality device will value in case you choose to bypass up from the newbie factor.
