So if the NBA only takes to most talented people, most being of black race, if a white person is more qualified for the job, why would they have to hire the minority person?

This is a great question. The people who think it's a bad question -"Because they hire the best people." - are actually making a point on your side. Think about it- shouldn't jobs and colleges do the same??? I think that quotas and affirmative action are such bullcrap.
