the Christian Coalition of Pat Robertson, (1999) split into two parts: the Christian Coalition International, the taxable political arm, and the Christian Coalition of America, tax-exempt for voter education, are both lobbyist groups, do they demand Fascism?
do conservatives play follow the leader, due to their individual lack of
intellectual guidance?
has listening to self proclaimed evangelist preachers for 50 years, like Jerry Falwell, (the former Moral Majority lobbying group founder) caused the leaders of the Republican party to be brain-washed?

Fiscal Conservatives, George W. Bush, and the Christian Coalition stand for three very differant things.
Fiscal Conservatives want to cut wasteful, corrupt, or useless spending out of the budget. Now, there are advocates for this along all political spectrums. For instance, I'm a Socialist, but I'm also a Fiscal Conservative. We need to cut out all of this pro-Big Business pork, and all the useless spending on pointless exercises. We need to focus our spending policy on things to help out the Prolitarian, the Working People, instead of more ways to help the rich.
George W. Bush is the epitome of a Neo-Con, while the Christian Coalition represents Paleo-Conservatives. The differances are mainly on trade and foreign policy. Neo-Cons tend to be free traders, supporters of immigration, and hawkish on foreign policy, while Paleo-Cons are isolationist, protectionist, and anti-Immigration. The Paleo-Cons are also even worse on Social Issues. While George Dubya thinks that gay civil unions should be up to states and abortion should be legal in the cases of incest, rape, or the endagerment of the mother, the Pat Buchanan types are against even those modest proposals.
There are conservatives who don't blindly worshop their great leader, and who's philosphy comes from reasonable thought. I happen to disagree with most of it, but not all of them are hate mongers. Also, look at conservative like George Will. They probley agree with us on Social Issues, but they're also free marketeers and in favor of a strong, tough government.
Finally, I since a change upon the wind for the GOP. Formerly the party of George Dubya and Tom Delay, of Bill Frist and Rick Santorum, it's turning into the party of John McCain and Rudi Giuliani, of Chuck Hagel and Colin Powell, of Arlen Specter and Olympia Snow, of George Pataki and Christie Todd Whitman. I can only hope that the Democratic party is no longer the party of Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, but of John Edwards and Russ Feingold.
Well, here's to hopin' (chinks glass).

Fiscal Conservatives and Chimpy aren't related. Chimpy's arm of the Republican party is the "borrow and borrow", let the government to spy on each US citizen arm, not the "smaller government" one.
Fawell, Roberts, and Dobson haven't brainwashed anyone in Washington. What they do, is deliver their flocks (referred to as "sheep") to the Republicans in exchange for access to governmental leaders, access to funding via the "Dept. of Faith Based Initiatives", and access to the Presidency for publicity purposes. It doesn't matter that the Republicans don't actually deliver on their promises, only that they give the evangelical radicals a prominent place to spew their backward, dark ages nonsense.

It appears that fiscal conservatives and Christian Coalition stand for the bankrupting of the U.S. as long as the end result is that they win and everyone has to accept their dogma or be doomed (physically).
