I'd put $500,000 in the bank and live off the interest.

I'd take $50,000 and start a scholarship for individuals from my old high school that want to go to my old college and major in secondary education with emphasis on teaching social studies.

I'd take $200,000 and build/furnish a nice house in the country, away from all the people and hustle/bustle.

I'd take $10,000 and put it on 27 on the roulette wheel at a casino.

I'd take $40,000 and buy a couple of nice cars.

I'd give $50,000 to the National Neurofibromatosis Foundation. It's something I have and they do good work that needs to be kept going.

I'd help out family and friends with the rest.

Then, as a last act before quitting my job, tell my boss's boss where to go.

A guy can dream? Can't he?

Buy lots of houses/condos/apartments and rent them out while the properties gain equity. The tenants pay for the mortgage, so all you have to pay is the down payments for each loan. Then after a few years, kick out the tenants and sell the properties now worth much more.

Donate it to public transportation networks.

Imagine how many people you could help by putting a little bit of money into something that touches everyone in the world.

Not just the people who would ride the public transportation, or the people who would have jobs because of the public transportation but the people who would breath easier with less pollution.

I would buy a secluded house, eat whatever I wanted, play video games all day, sleep, not bathe or brush my hair, have every movie ever made, have a personal masousee, and after about a year of that straighten out and go back to normal.

Buy my own house. Furnish it. Have a few thousand in my checking account to last a while and put the rest in a CD so it can grow.
