START TALKING AND HANGING OUT WITH OLDER PEOPLE. TO SEE HOW THEY ACT. AND GET A PART TIME JOB OF SOMESORT LIKE MOWING YARDS, BAGGING GROCERIES, ETC. YOU WILL LEARN SOME RESPONSABILTY AND ALSO GET TO INTERACT WITH OTHER MATURE PEOPLE. BUT THERE IS ONE THING I WILL TELL YOU. THERE IS A CHILDISH SIDE IN EVERY ONE. YOU JUST GOTTA LEARN WHEN IT IS APPROPRIATE!!!!

You don't need to grow up yet. You're 15. Enjoy it. Go play with your friends. Sometimes I wish I was still 15. Maturity will come with experience, naturally. You'll find as you get older, it will come to you, and that "kids mind" will disappear as you consider your choices more carefully.

The best advice I can give, is think before you act, and think before you speak. At 15 you should have some responsibilities, but you are still a "kid," so I guess it depends on why your mom said it in the first place.

Don't die is a good first.

Just remember, When you were a baby they did everything to make you talk....once you did they told you to shut up. Before you could walk.....same sh!t, now it is "sit down".

Just think that the first thing your mom will say when you did 'mature'. "I still remember when you were this big and...." then she will blot a tear from the corner of her eye.

Don't be in a hurry. Enjoy life as it is now.

read books.. start with the classics .. (lord of the fly, waiting for Godot, by Beckett etc he's cool anyways)

edit: don't listen to others .. I've got mature but I'm still having fun... if your mature it doesn't mean you think all the time seriously .. I also like to listen to stupid songs, not think about world hunger and love the word diarrhea *g*

DON'T. I am 15 and am super immature. The word poop makes me laugh. Being immature is fun and is all we have left in this crappy little planet called Earth. If you really want to get mature, stop having fun.

Listen to people and learn from them. The best way to mature is to keep your mouth shut and hear what people have to say.

You just need to wait and grow up. Enjoy being a kid while you can.
