I just had an ultra sound done at 24 weeks and the tech said she was pretty sure it was a girl....she said she couldn't see that area straight on, but that she usually doesn't say anything unless she really felt she could tell the sex. How accurate were your ultra sound "predictions"? And please say whether it was for a girl or boy. Thanks.

hello whalelvr72 i am a very proud father of four, in two weeks will be five. now everytime and i do mean everytme my wife and i had the ultrasounds done I was the one who told the tech's and my wife what the gender of the baby was because they also like your tech's told you they were'nt sure of the gender and they probably were right. but those things can be tricky, make sure they move that wand around slow sometimes those people come in to their job with crap on their mind and try to do halfass work. so next time you go make sure YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND do like told you. Oh yeah and yes my predictions were very very correct my oldest is a girl and i was correct my two middle kids are boys correct once again and my baby is a girl and yes once again and in two weeks we're having another boy. I guess what i am trying to say is don't rely on those people, keep YOUR eyes on that screen they work dont they (smile) it's your baby not theirs. hope this helped God bless you and yours.

My ultrasound was accurate in predicting a boy. Girls are often much harder to tell, especially in the earlier weeks. My son showed his goody bits everytime we had a sono so there was no denying it...If the area wasn't clear to the technician I would hold off on painting the nursery pink!

Ultrasounds are never 100%. Depending on the position of the baby, they can be pretty accurate, but you never really know for sure until it's born... Get another one later on and see if they can tell better.

I had an ultrasound at 20 weeks and the tech said it was a girl, then we had another one at 35 weeks and it was still a girl. Then at 39 weeks out she came, and guess what... it was a girl!

MY ULTRASOUND WAS VERY ACCURATE. I HAD A BOY. BUT MY BEST FRIEND'S ULTRA SOUND SAID SHE WAS HAVING A GIRL. SHE WENT AND BOUGHT ALL THIS PINK STUFF AND WHEN THE BABY WAS BORN IT WAS A BOY WITH A SMALL ****. BUY NEUTRAL STUFF FOR NOW AND HOPE FOR WHAT YOU WANT. IT WILL BE PRECIOUS ANYWAY.

Ultrasounds are never 100% accurate just like the due date. My mom said they didn't know what i was until i was born. My ultrasound pics actually showed my baby's lil weiner! So, these days you can never really be sure.

Most of the time there pretty accurate but you never really know until you actually deliver the baby. Modern technology, its crazy right. GOOD LUCK

could be 50/50 on just her words without seeing the sex of your baby on the ultrasound.

My aunt had an ultrasound and they told her it was a girl and she went out and bought all girl stuff, clothes and when she had it it was a BOY!
She was so mad and was stuck with all that girl baby stuff.

Good luck and congrats
