You're not gross for flirting. You just may be more mature than your friends. Someone has to be the first to be that "into" boys.
Just make sure that the boys are your age. Some older boys may take your flirting to be a signal that you want something more advanced than you are ready for.

Look I'm 16 years old and I know how it is to flirt and your friends think it's wrong. I use to do the same thing when I was your age but what you are doing is giving boys and all of your other peers a message that you aren't trying to give out. So think about that before your reputation goes bad.

I have a best friend who sounds just like you but I dont think she's GROSS it just gets on my nerves because it makes her look bad and I have to defend her if someone says something ya' know? Dancing and having fun is great just try to understand where your friends are coming from and try not to push the limits

ok i will give you an advice...it's indeed very pleasant to feel that people look you for a young becoming woman as you are....but do not play with that one of these day you'll be hurt and it's a dangerous game nowadays to flirt such way....you are completely unconscious about men or young guys around you ....
i do not care what people answered you here most of them are not well balanced concerning flirt and love matters...most of them are weirdos, addict of cybersex and interested in fresh meat like you are...
your friends probably are real good ones do not change them an d you'll grow in a good way... do you wanna bear a slut etiquette ask yourself...do you really wanna find real love be careful in your choices...

Nothing wrong with flirting, you are doing a normal thing that kids do so no worries! She may not like it but it doesn't mean that you have to stop doing it but BE careful so you dont give all the wrong hints to the person.

Everyone does that! Some people just have ways of showing it and others can hide it. If your friends think of you as gross when you do, talk to them...you might be hanging around the wrong group of people.

Your friends are wrong and behind the times. There's nothing wrong wtih flirting. In fact it's such a good thing, that there were books about it, maybe last year, or 2 years ago.

Be careful sweetheart. It is fun, but it can easily get out of hand. I had a friends like you. It wasn't her fault at all, but she was rapped twice by the time she was 21.
