Against the Cavs, Heat, Pistons, Magic (which will probably be very good) and the Bulls in the East, extremely unlikely. The Pacers are on the decline, they have to start rebuilding and develop young players because their veterans can no longer hack it.

i am a die hard pacer fan...and i think i am entitled to say that the past few yrs have been so frustrating for me....first of all..jermaine oneil is a poser...he's not half the person or leader that reggie miller ever was...his post moves are so crude...like a very poor man's olajuwon....they also traded antonio davis for bender...who was a complete flop...if they had kept their core....antonio davis, dale davis reggie miller...after the finals...they would have certainly won at least 1 championship ...instead they wound up with a quasi all star power forward who has never shot more than 50 percent of his shot in his career...JO is the cancer that has plauged the pacers the past couple of yrs....he didnt do any kind of campaign to keep reggie miller back for 1 yr...coz he really wanted full authority of the team....but all he got was a first round exit in the playoffs...let's face it he doesnt have the goods to be a top 10 player in the nba...he's like a souped up version of shareef abdur rahim...his goto move is a power backdown and then a fadaway shot...it looks ugly and it isnt as accurate as what you would expect from a powerforward..he also does not know how to pass from the post w/c negated the abilities of reggie miller and stephen jackson...he also constantly demands the ball from the post but usually just ends up with a forced shot that misses...the guards just stand around the perimeter watching him grind it out inside...it reminds me of barkley when he was playing in houston, but barkley knew how to pass and knew how to post up correctly.....if you ask me they should trade JO for quality players and give the keys to the team to stephen jackson...they should also trade anthony johnson...his late season push was strictly for contract renewal purposes...i would pick an injured tinsley over a healthy johnson anytime....so as long as JO is with indiana...they will never go further than the first round of the playoffs!!!

Sorry, I don't see any more hope for this than a 5% chance. Even that might be generous.

And I don't have a vested interest, not really a big fan of any other team. I just watched last season and can't see it happening.

Championship? They won't even make the playoffs.

Heat
Pistons
Bulls
Cavs
Wizards
76ers
Magic
Nets

In no particular order will be your playoff teams this season.

I highly doubt that. I think that either the Heat, Spurs, or Pistons will win it all next year.
