It is a sizing issue. When you try on a pair of goggles at the store do not put the strap over your head. Your sizing you face so the goggles have to fit you eyes. Lightly push the goggle onto your eyes: If a light suction keeps them on your face they fit. If they fall off or the suction is too hard (your eyes feel like they a being sucked out of your head) they are not going to work. The strap is to keep them from falling off not to hold them on your face. Stay away from foam rimmed goggles they lose shape and only work a few times. Try a non hypo allergenic silicone rimmed goggle.
I recommend these to most of my clients and athletes

You are always supposed to test out goggles at the store with a trained person who will help you find the most comfortable pair. The problem is not everyone has the same shaped eyes or cheeks. The goggles are digging in not necessarily because of tightness but probably because they are the wrong shape or size. Go searching and good luck.

try buying speedo goggles. they're the best. they have lasted me the whole season and never left me a mark. maybe its because you adjusted them too tight. don't buy cheap ones. mine were $10 but compared to other people who kept breaking their's, mine was the best :)

Your goggles are too tight! Loosen them to the point where they don't bruise your face.

hmmm. its defiantly a goggle problem (tightness) so they need to be loosened. also the blue rings are not good because they are cutting off your circulation. NOT GOOD. so if you loosen them, & the problem remains i suggest googles by speedo. work very well & adjustible.

Try a brand with a bridge or perhaps a different size. Maybe even smaller.
If nothing works swim with you eyes closed.
