Sorry, no WW III.

One reason: Cost way too much.
The global economy is too interconnected. Bombing "them" becomes bombing our foreign investments.

Small wars? sure. and expect them more often.

Collapse of global economy? Never.

As long as rich dudes can reinvest SOMEWHERE, they will.
Might be here, might be there, might be in a bank, but then the bank invests the money SOMEWHERE.

Greatest Depression? I doubt you witnessed the Great Depression. Our grand parents did not have our material wealth or property ownership. No TVs, jobs, no medicines, no FOOD. And they pulled through. Are you afraid you will have one less DVD player? We will never be that poor again. Ever.

What is wrong with Manifest Destiny? One world culture would aid everybody, the Capitalist West have proven they are best at managing the planet, let them have it.

Chill. It's not as bad as you think.

Eh we'll all probably die in the fires of nuclear war before we have to worry about another Depression (just to let you know there are safeguards in our current economy to prevent that)
