I am a loyal Verizon user and since I am due for an upgrade and my PDA went out on me, I thought I would buy one of those PDA Phones but do not know which one. I use my mobile phone for my sole source of telephonic communication besides my work phone. I never exceed the 400 anytime minutes and that is also because most of my family is on the Verizon IN network. On the PDA side, I use it mostly for contacts and scheduling. My emailing would be at a minimum as I am always close to a PC and when I am on the road, its not long enough to warrant immediate emails.

I am looking at the Treo 650, 700 and and now the Motorla Q. Never having used one of these things, I am kinda lost on what I should get. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

After much thought, I have wittle down my decision to either the Motorola Q or the Treo 650. The 700 is just too much money to pay for.

I used yo have a blackberry 750, I think it was anyways, and I loved it. I now have a Treo 700 which is very nice but the operating system seems to crash when you are on the internet or running multiple applications (thats windows for you). My co-worker had to trade his in twice because of problems with it crashing all the time. Mine seems to work ok.

The Q is a nice phone and does almost everything the Treo does but it does not have a touch screen which is what kept me from purchaseing it. Its about $200 cheaper than a treo so if cost is a factor, the Q has more bang for the buck.

treo 650 i've heard is great and the 700 still has issues and the motorola Q is good but it is not touchscreen like the treo hope this info helps. so far it looks like if you like touchscreen go for the treo 650 if not then try the Q its pretty thin and motorola is known to be good phones

I LOVE my Cingular 2125 if you're willing to switch to Cingular. Here's a link: http://onlinestorez.cingular.com/cell-phone-service/images/equip/medium/medium_cingular_2125.jpg

You can get the lowest minutes plan which is $39.99 and add the Media Works bundle for $15. It gives you 5 MB which is PLENTY. Our surf the net on my phone all day every day and never go over. You can look at web pages just like they look on a regular computer. I think the graphics are amazing and the Mobile Windows is sooo easy to use. It's also only $150 after your rebate.
