Sperm can live 72 hours so yes there is a possibility that she can become pregnant. She is also risking herself for other things as well, like any infections or diseases that he may have. You should talk to your friend and let her know what she is doing isnt right. If he used a condom then there is a good reason why he did that. If she is trying to trap him then thats a hell of a way to do and its also the wrong way to do it. He may not want kids right now and who knows he may not expect the baby, some men do that. SHe really should seek some help because if she is pregnant there is a lot that she jus gor herself into.

If the condom did not have spermicide, there is a possibility she could get pregnant. Not only that, but if there is a chance he has an STD, she is also exposing herself to that risk.
If her boyfriend isn't ready for children (as apparent by the use of a condom) then she could be causing herself more trouble than she realizes.
She should seek out counseling. Either that, or she should be sure she knows what she's getting into, especially if her boyfriend bails on her after she is pregnant. Have her talk to someone at Planned Parenthood. They should be able to set her straight.

As another user said, she needs to seek serious mental help. Having a baby is not some cure-all that will make your life wonderful. If she can't be happy with her self first, she's going to be miserable when she has a kid.
And I would alert the boyfriend as well, he may be the only one who can help her get the help she needs. I'd say some therapy is in order, she needs to deal with her serious issues right quick before she does something more insane.
And yes, there is a possibility that she could get pregnant like that, but I'd say it's rather slim. Make sure she's taking a pregnancy test just in case though.

You said it,, that was stupid.. what if he has some STD.. and yeah. poor guy thinking he is protecting himself from getting the girl pregnant... is the guy ready for a kid? does your friend lack attention or something? talk to her.. open her eyes anyway you can.... this is not right for him,,,, or for the future baby she might conceived.... and yeah, she could get pregnant like that... anytime sperm comes in contact with the vagina theres a chance of pregnancy.... good luck talking to your friend.. maybe she might need some professional help..

I agree, most condoms have spermicide in them to kill the sperm. Not only that, but sperm usually dies once it contacts oxygyn. But it is still possible, as not every sperm will have been exposed. (ie: the ones in the "middle" of the puddle)

well actuly there is as long as the condom dont have spermiside on it. and it was under an hour. but that is just stupid and wrong for her to do. and i presume he dont want kids with her or at least not right now or he would not have een wearing the condom
