UNDER U .S . military control still with about 50 ,000 permenent troops there .THE schools and homes being built and water and sewer are for perminent military support for IRAQ .so when i hear about the schools and homes going up it is to help americans who in the future will live there as we do in germany .with schools and housing for base familys .Shopping malls and fast food joints will make the middle east a democracy .A few soccer fields and some suvs and soccer arab mom is born shopping all day and watching the kids kick a ball around on a field of grass with some bleechers around it.GAAAURDED of course by military troops around the perimiter .AS soccer moms and malls are favorite targets of terrorists

It depends on how much effort is put into it. If the effort is put into rebuilding like the republicans want then it will be ok. But if we cut and run like the dems want then it will be worse than it was 5 years ago.

It might get better but if the american forces leave too soon, then i believe it might turn into a dictatorship again.
or worse, it might turn against the united states! hope that doesn't happen though
