All these so-called "right to lifers" only care about "a right to life" when it's "unborn." They almost all believe in the death penalty, and they almost all hate the idea of welfare, or giving aid to children whose parents can't take care of them. But the people who grow up to commit horrible crimes are almost all children who were unwanted, unloved, neglected and abused.

Banning abortions will not solve the problem. DO people actually think that banning them will make the world better? No, it would be a waste of time because women would still get them anyways, they would get back alley abortions (that actually are deadly) Adoption? well, I don't think a woman should put up with 9 mo with a fetus from a rape or incest, what woman would?
With abortions legal that government can have a say in how abortions are made:
1. Keep high sanitary standards
2. Only experts can become practitioners
3. Limit abortions to the first trimester.
With abortions illegal:
1. No sanitary standards in abortion
2. Any quack or psycho can start an illegal abortion clinic
3. Partial birth abortions, aborting a fetus at any time.
I believe abortions are wrong, but they should not be banned because I have enough common sense to know that the problem will not go away, we would just look away.
Let our society focus more on preventing pregnancy

No. People's religious beliefs should not influence other people's rights. The adoption system, healthcare system, and support system are not set up correctly to guarantee that each child born, no matter the difficulties or retardation, will have a good life.

The 'rape and incest' allowance isn't logical. It's saying that the life of a child conceived under difficult circumstances is worth less than one who is not. Either you are against abortion or you aren't. No picking and choosing which babies are worthless and which aren't.

And if the 'rape and incest' clause were allowed - who is to say what rape & incest are?? If it's the court, then the baby will be past the date when you could humanely abort. If it's simply a complaint, then that means that women in difficult situations have to bring the government into her own private hell.

Contrary to the propaganda to the contrary, abortion is not regularly a form of contraceptive. Half the women who get them used some sort of birth control that failed. Yes, there are some women who get numerous abortions, but education and some other system has to be set up for them. It's not right to punish the responsible public based on these minority of women.

No it shouldn't be banned. It is a woman's right to do as she wishes with her body. That being said, I don't think any woman should be allowed to use it as a method of birth control.

There are very few situations for a legal abortion - 1. The mother's life is in danger 2. The child will be born so severely handicapped that it won't survive outside of the womb 3. The child is a result of rape.

Abortion can never be stopped, even if banned because it is a right given to man by God. God practices abortion every day, and he does so without causing the death of a human soul. God takes and protects the soul when a fetus is aborted. There is no murder, death or other problem because God is a loving all powerful God with the power to control life.

No it shouldn't for some medical reasons, but you shouldn't be able to have an abortion just cause you don't want the kid

No. Taking away safe abortion does not take away the need for abortion, there will always be other unsafe soloutions for desperate situations. Letr's keep it safe.

Abortion is like flag burning. I don't like it but I support the right to do it.

Yes. Except in the cases of rape, incest, or the mother's life is in danger.

It is time people started taking responsibility for their actions and to quit making innocent, unborn babies pay the ultimate price for somebody else's mistake.
