They are well on their way out, but really high waists aren't coming back either. Pants that hit the top of the hipbones are a good fashion bet.

Yeah. the problem is that too many women wear them who have NO business wearing them. You've seen them, they're called "muffin tops" because their hip flab rolls over the top of their low rise jeans like a muffin top spills over the cup. Nasty.

If they are the really super low kind, yes. Everything sticks out over the top!
