I'm very happy for Casey Mears! He is a driver that doesn't get much attention from fans, sadly, but now he has made people notice him and accept him as a good driver! I, though was hoping Tony Stewart would win, am extremely happy for Casey. He needed that win. And he's an awesome guy who deserves that "experienced racer" respect that other drivers get. Hey, I'm rootin' for him in Nextel, now, too. I bet he'll do great. That win proved to me how good he can be....go Casey!!

Even though he is classified as a Buschwacker, I was glad that he finally got his first NASCAR victory. He had been close so many times before that you knew he would break through eventually. I think he will win in Nextel and it may very well be this season. If not, he should have the tools next season with Hendrick Motorsports.

I love Casey Mears, and I will love him even more next year when he takes over the 25 car. Hendrick Motorsports is the best in the business.

I GOT THE CHANE TO MEET CASEY AT TALLADEGA IN 2001 WHEN HE WAS RUNNING IN THE ARCA CARS.MAYBE THIS WILL BE THE START OF A NEW BREED OF WINNERS (COMPARED TO THE WHINNERS-STEWART,GORDON-JOHNSON-BUSCH)
