I guess I'll go with LaDanian Tomlinson, but it's close. I'd have Shaun Alexander second and Larry Johnson closing in fast. LJ needs at least one full season of greatness to challenge the other two.

The best back in the nfl today is Tomlinson, LT for San Diego, Not only is he a beast running the ball, he has the best hands out of the backfield, he can even throw the ball as he showed last year with 3 td passes.

Here are my top 4. I don't think you could go wrong with any of these guys (in no particular order): Tiki Barber, Giants; Shaun Alexander, Seahawks; Larry Johnson, Chiefs; Ladanian Tomlinson, Chargers.

I'd have to say it's a toss up between LaDanian Tomlinson and Shaun Alexander. Although it will be interesting to watch Larry Johnson this year.

Probably Shaun Alexander. But you could argue L.T., Larry Johnson, Edgerin James, and one or two others.

That's a tough one, but with Alexander and his TD record and about 1900 yard season....It's gotta be him....but his line deserves a lot of credit.
ALTHOUGH.....Larry Johnson started 9 games and got 1750 yards....watch out for that guy.
Tomlinson isn't the best RB...he's just a FANTASTIC football player all around....Barber.....he's Barber, what more can you say about that guy.
For RBs that you might want to watch out for this season: Larry Johnson, DeShaun Foster, Reggie Bush (duh?), Samkon Gado (if GB starts him), and Willie Parker.
