Lately it seems there are more and more of these cars viberating my windows. It's really annoying. These people seem to care nothing about wheather other people like their noise. Why arent the police writing tickets when there are noise ordenances on their books. My question is "is this really music or something to get attention?

More and more localities are getting noise limitation laws on their books... and it's about time.

It's probably a little of both. It's still music but I'm sure there is attention involved. It doesn't have to be rap though. I have a 12" sub in my car and it's at its best when I'm playing Tool (which is progressive metal)!! I usually only crank it on main streets though, not through my neighborhood. Not only is that rude but it's always a great way to get your system stolen!

I think it's just something to get attention to make up for their other shortcomings and it is definitely not music.
