i have blue shield HMO, how much should my copay be for "citracal prenatal+dha"?

i live in southern california. the ob/gyn specialist said "usually this rx wouldn't cost you anything at pharamcy... i ended up paying full retail price.

You need to call your plan and talk to customer service.
Some insurance plans have certain brands of drugs that are covered, while others are not.
You may need to get a generic.
You may not have satisfied your deductible.
Health insurance plans differ so widely, that you have to call and ask about your specifics.

Insurance doesn't pay for over the counter items.
