my mom used to sprinkle black pepper around her yard and it used to stop the cats from coming in her yard.Because they used to sniff then they would sneeze and it would get in their nose and they would run away.Try it ,it might just work.

A dog would help a bit.
How about an IR motion sensor hooked up to a water valve on your hose feeding a sprinkler... Just a thought.

I don't think you can keep them from coming into your yard unless you have a dog. However, to keep them from using your flower beds for a bathroom, I put big rocks in my flowers. They can't dig in the dirt and the rocks look nice.

Try moth balls. I used that around my house to keep them from peeing in the bushes. It worked.

I saw on this infomercial that you should sprinkle red pepper or cracked black pepper on the yard... don't know if this works or not..... i also heard lavender

Any poison technique for any animal is a merciless thanks to die - - suffering. round my flowers & backyard, I lay fowl cord on the floor which has helped exceedingly. curiously, the cats get by using fence cracks or less than the fence. ought to ought to come across a thanks to close off the openings.
