If you believe in soulmates, do you only get one in your lifetime?

There is no such thing as Soul Mates
Relationships are born out of a fulfillment of psychological needs. Regardless of how attractive you are, or how kind and sweet if you're not fulfilling your partners psychological needs then you'll loose them.
Many people believe in soul mates, and think they may have found theirs. Usually this means they've found someone else just as screwed up, and in the same way as they are themselves.

Soul mates are an ideal, a mirage, a fantasy for the majority.
But there are cases where some fortunate people do find their soul mate.
The closest thing to a soul mate is a person who is more or less compatible with you.

Both.
Soul mates can be recognized as that from the very beginning, and then they have to learn how to be compatible later.
OR
You can find someone you're compatible with, and then become soul mates.
Either way relationship requires work.
Everyone deserves a soul mate in life, but they shouldn't be unrealistic. Nobody will be your mind reader or savior. That's something altogether different.

Hello. Yes, I do believe in soul mates. I also believe that there is more than one person that were compatable enough with to have a successfull relationship with. I dont know if we have more than one soul mate but I would say that its very possible if not probable.

You may meet someone and mutually decide each other is the right one. Down the road in the marriage things still can get tough. That's when you make the decision to stick it out with that person or cut and run. I think soulmates are created through the hard times deciding to stick together, stick it out and love each other in the bad times. I'm not talking about abuse of course but bad times such as finanicial loss, health stress, dissappointments and grief that come about in the normal course of life.

I believe in soulmates. I think that god put two people on this earth that are perfect for eachother, and if everything goes as planned you will find your soulmate one day.

I hope there is soul mates. I want to find mine. Soul mates are the ones that's love last for ever and ever. Its real. They are a part of you and always will be. You are a part of them. I've met so many women that I believe fell into that category, I don't know anymore. Perhaps we are compatible with people and that hard work we do to keep that person makes us perfect matches.

God made us each unique and special and for each of us is another person he made equally special and unique.
We are so busy changing what he made (dying hair, crimp, cutting, reshaping, false eyes and boobs, fake fingernails, nose rings, pierce this and that, face lifts and boob jobs) Our other being can`t find the real us. Thus the reason divorce is so high. We do not allow ourselves or our partner to JUST BE who they are..
