First of all I don't believe in 50/50 since in order for a good relationship to work you both must give 100%

But to answer your question ,IMO I think you should sit down with your mate and discuss your concerns and explain how you feel and why.
Because there is a 50/50 chance they don't read minds :->
and sometimes do to passed relationships, some people only allow themselves to give 50%.
Because actually in the beginning you were giving 50% and now giving 100 and they"re still giving 50.

Relationships are hardly ever 50/50. Everyone has there ups and downs and hopefully you can balance eachother out. Each of you have to be willing to give 100% not 50%. Scorekeeping is never a good thing in a relationship.

I never knew a relationship that was really 50/50.

change the ratio because it is wrong anyway. A relationship is 80+% give and 20-% take and if it isn't, it probably isn't going anywhere anyway. Stop putting yourself first, put the other person and their feelings and desires 1st. That will bring you closer together not 50/50. That is a 0% win situation.

Relationships aren't always 50/50 . but given time it equals out . you have give and take sometimes you have to give more than you get . Stick it out if you really care about this person . It will work itself out.

I think the problem may be that it should never be 50/50, but each partner should give 100plus! Think about the difference that makes, and be ready to be understanding and compromise.

Lower your contribution to zero so that the other person realizes that they have been taking your double effort for granted. You should read that book "Men are from mars, women are from venus"....it sounds cheesy but it is a really good book and it can help you resolve problems like what you are talking about.
