this is a great question. I think that --assuming humanity survives-- there are many possible inventions, but its impossible to say which will happen and which won't, especially over the span of the next 1000 years.
Put it this way: could anyone alive 1000 years ago have predicted Special Relativity or the transistor? No, because they didn't have the necessary framework of knowledge. I think we're in the same position vis a vis something that might happen in the year 2900.
However, within the next 100 years, I think its reasonable to expect computers to "think" in ways which strike us as "self-aware" -- this is a highly likely major invention.

yet that would come third. on account that gadgets mutually with the cellular telephone and the microwave have mixed reward, i'd bypass for some small mundane issues which have benefited thousands and thousands. before each and every thing, the ballpoint pen. Laszlo Biro's invention has inspired such an excellent style of extra people to position in writing extra many times, and extra acceptable, because it has finished away with the favor for inkwells and ink bottles. i believe ink's ability to get everywhere from a bottle or inkwell spawned the first face painters (and they are easily not on a itemizing of excellent adult males!). Secondly, velcro. What a genius George de Mestral might want to were to come back up with something so undemanding, yet so helpful! The youngest can carry close it, as can the oldest and maximum infirm. i imagine simplicity spawns an excellent style of the finest recommendations, ones which impression on maximum folk's lives
