Makes you wonder,but I hardly think so.I do think however that Portugal should have to pay some kind of penalty for Cristiano Ronaldo's actions and most all other members of the Portugal team.They just could not/did not play fair in ANY of the games,some of what they did AND got away with was incredible! Maybe they should be banned from playing in the next world cup,wonder if they'd play fair then?

I think that you just can't get over the fact we lost. Did you really think we would win with just 4 strikers - Rooney (who will always get a red card in a competition), Crouch (incredibly tall and always looks like he'g gonna fall over), Owen (who wasn't as fit as he should have been due to injury), Walcott (GCSE's).
I think that Cristiano Ronaldo does, however, spoil the game. He dives and says he should get a free kick. He complains to the ref, and gets really worked up over nothing.
However Portugal deserved to win. Most of them played well. Also - how could the game have been fixed. The ref can't influence penalties. He can't make us miss the goal and the portuguese get the ball in.

England played poor in all their matches, if they that good they would have scored BEFORE they were down to 10 men and would have won over the penalty shootout - only had 1. Their first game against Paraguay - it was 1-0 all because of an own goal.

First, Chiquita, open your eyes and stop judging Portugal only. Many teams behaved badly.
Davey, while Ronaldo is dining at fancy restaurants, you're eating a MacDonald's, While he wears top of the line name brand clothes, you shop at Walmart, on vacation while he's stay at five star hotels, you stay at a local motel, while he has a future ahead of him at the age of 21, the furthest you'll go in your career life is as a manager at MacDonald's (but hey, at least your meals will be free).

What a stupid question! England lost because they were crap. I don't remember England being in excellent form in any of their other matches, there weren't any dubious penalties so just get over it!
