Well, he may be saying that as a hint that he is looking for someone. I would tell him, what do you have to loss, unless its your work place. I you know him other then at work take the chance. If he is on the job forget it ,you will still have to see him everyday and be uncomfortable. Any guy that is looking for a 20 year old when he is 40 sounds immature and like a jerk anyway.

since he asked you to search for him a girl or even if you know a girl of 20 - 23 years to introduce him for marriage... is maybe a hint as in..maybe he is interested in you but doesnt want to ask u coz he doesnt know about ur feelings towards him and he might be thinking if he asks u he might lose you ...
so make your feelings clear towards him.. better than suffering..

If you two have a close friendship, then you may be able to tell him without him being offended. Of course, you should prepare for the probable rejection. You have to do what is best for you emotionally. Healthy relationships don't result in emotional suffering as you say that you are going through.
