I think they did cheat just as much, but they are such experts now at making it look good!! In the first half of the game Germany had quite a few free kicks because of Portugals cheating, maybe THIS ref was wise to them! That old saying," cheats never prosper", proves its right!! Own goal? At last JUSTICE IS DONE !!!

No, Portugal lost because they spend too much time passing the ball around the field. It seems like they want to pass the ball to EVERY PLAYER in their team before scoring a goal. I'm a big Portugal fan, but I've been disappointed with them this WC. But they are not cheaters. Honestly, have you never seen an England player dive or appeal for a penalty? And they totally out played Germany today, especially in the first half. They just didn't get it into the box enough, Germany wanted to score more than Portugal.

I live in Scotland and unlike most people here, I'm an England fan and cried my eyes out when they got beaten by cheating Portugal. I'm over the moon that they got what they deserved tonight. Ronaldo was as usual, a disgrace. Be interesting to see what kind of reception he gets when he plays for Man U again.

Do you think that maybe you're still angry about the fact that England hasn't won the cup in 40 years?
And also, the German team actually cheated through out the entire competition, but didn't get the red and yellow cards they should have gotten.
Portugal has some incredible players.

No! Portugal had nothing to loose because this was their 1st semifinal match ever in WC history! But Scolary is the one who lost because he wanted to put a world record of a coach who managed to take WC two times by two different teams!

they are a good team but they dontreally have a top stricker like alot of teams england never had a better chance to win than last saturday. i still think that if rooney would have dived in stead of trying to stay on his feet he would not of been sent off

i could not agree more with you. But i think they lost, because, apart from their diving antics, their usual magic of Deco and Figo and Maniche wasnt there. And in contrast Germany showed heart, especially in absence of ballack
