lol calm down high school isn't that bad. just go in as early as you can the first day and find all your classes eat a good breakfast, get a good nights sleep, try to be on time to class, be respectful, and finally DO YOUR HOMEWORK! that is one of the biggest high school screw ups is not doing homework.
especially down the fist ones because the grade is cumulative what ever your early grade is will either make your life easy or a pain.

Be involved... Make new friends...
I guess I'll give you a list of things I find important in high school.
1) Become involved (clubs, things you're interested in.)
2) Make a network of friends to hang out w/ at lunch and during passing period and get their e-mails and phone #s b/c if you forget an assignment or when a test is, you're in for it.
3) Just study ... I found being a freshman in high school to be easier than junior high, but it's different for everybody... Don't leave your work till the last minute b/c most projects in high school aren't meant to be finished in an hour!!!!!!!
FYI - before your first day of school, get a school map and be sure you know where all your classes are and see what classes you and your friends have in common so y'all can sit together.
Most importantly, be yourself, that way you'll know who your TRUE FRIENDS are!
Boyfriend?
good luck to ya!

you will be just fine. Just be yourself. Don't worry about the juniors and seniors picking on the lower classes, I think it's a bit stupid, I always have. They were in the lower classes at one time as well. Just be yourself, do your homework, pay attention in class, and just do your best. High school can be a lot of fun. If you have time and your parents allow it, get involved with some extra cirricular activities as well and OH YEAH, don't worry about striving to be the popular one, that's a bit silly your popularity in school only give you temporary pleasure. your life is not over if you are not popular.
Keep in mind too, kids can be cruel. It's hard, but if they are mean try your best to ignore it. They have the issues you don't. People that don't have issues don't go around hurting other people and making fun of them.

how can you make it?
well, from someone who graduated high school a month ago, you'll do just fine if you don't worry so much less about image and how you appear to others. i spent my fair share doing so. don't get intimidated easily, don't get sucked into partying just because everyone seems to be doing it (come up with your fun. to do so, all you need is a couple good friends), don't become too full of yourself (but brush off the people that believe you're something that you know you're not), keep an eye out for the people that could use a friend, and last but not least, make sure you're a good friend yourself. don't freak out, it's not all it's cracked up to be but it's not all that bad either.

Decide what you think is most important and don't let yourself be easily swayed. Do your homework. Remember that who you are in High School (where you stand on the social ladder) has nothing to do with the rest of your life. Also remember that you're there to learn, not to socialize, but be nice to people. Don't let the assholes (and there will be assholes) get you down. But don't panic. Sometimes it'll be the best time of your life, sometimes the worst. You have to accept what comes to you, but never lose sight of who you are.

help with what? Its no different from Jr High.
Just go to class and do what your told, or don't.. half the people don't.. half the people don't even go to class either xD ok thats an exaggeration, but you'll get u sed to it.
Just a few more people thats all.
And btw depending on your personality, you will either love high school or hate it with a passion. Me, I hated it xD worst 3 years of my life, but I worked my *** of and graduated early so w/e College is a breeze though ;D

Take LEARNING seriously. Friends come and go but the education is the only thing that will stay with you. Don't take High School(social scene) too seriously. It's just a phase in your life. Make friends and have fun but take learning seriously.

Be yourself. Don't try to act like something you aren't. You will make more true friends that way. Study and remember school should come first, then a social life. Being popular won't get you into a good college and a good job.

just be yourself. i know it sounds dull but it is true. assuming that some of your friends are going to the same high school, you shouldn't have a problem. just stick together and take the first week to get to know the school, then branch out and start to make friends

first... don't listen to negative comments that are posted here.
I'm a senior in Highschool, and I can tell you a thing or two...
think positive... you will get more friends that way.
study. It will help you later in life.
the counsleer aren't mean. they can really help you in your first weeks/months in school.
BE YOURSELF... any other way will only make yourself uncomfortable wuth who you are.
and have fun. High school is not evil, or bad... it just has a bad reputation sometimes.
