I took a lot of stuff and emailed it to myself, but can't do that with everything. Any suggestions on how I can get the whole favorites folder copyed to my new computer? Thanks for any help!

If they both have usb drives, use a thumb drive. They are getting cheaper and can carry more data.

1. use USB flash drive
2. use memory card
3. plug your old computer hard drive to the new and then copy it and the plug into the old computer again
4. if you have home network, share your favorite folder and then just copy it to the new computer
5. i've heard about file transfer wizard in windows xp, but i don't know how to use it

I use a usb jumpdrive it has 125 mb's plenty of room for most items. Works just like a floppy but for the usb port.

If this is IE faviorites export them as html on old machine. then email the file to yourself. Then import on the new machine. Heres a howto http://www.kent.k12.wa.us/KSD/IT/TSC/managing/hardware/desktops/import_export.htm
