Why do I love to play competitive games but hate to win or lose?

You love the rush you get while playing the game. at the end your faced with reality again and don't like the fact that not everyone's happy because they lost.

You probably enjoy the pressure and adrenaline that comes with the game, depending on what sort of game you are playing (athletic, board, card, etc.). Do you enjoy strategic games where you have to evaluate everything before you can play, or are you more into games where you have to think quickly on your feet? Do you do well under pressure in other things such as work or deadlines? On the whole winning and losing part of the game, you might not like it because you hate other people being considered other than an equal to you. What about in your political views? Do you strive more for triumph or more for equalism among all people? In an argument, you probably take more of a mediator role rather than siding with just one side. Does this help any?

Some people are wired for the "hunt" - the excitement and challenge of the game - you might be that person - it's like a rush - a drug - and when you win or loose, the game is over - you come down - and you are unhappy until you get the game going again. It's natural to a point - but if I were you, I'd try playing a game and force yourself to "see" what the "winners" attitude or "losers" attitude would be like.

if so, then you probably have a really short attention span.

if you hate losing, then you're probably just a competitive person.

if you hate winning, well ...... i have no answer because i don't know anyone else who's ever had that problem O.O
