Normally there will be a little chart somewhere on the hard drive or marks right by where the jumpers are set. Usually there are only three sets, master , slave and cable select. So if there is no chart, start with no jumper, then jumper in position one, then 2, etc. until you find the right setting. The worst that will happen is your OC not will boot so you will have to turn it off and move the jumpers to the next position.

Sure, The drive usually has a diagram to show you how the jumpers go. The default, which almost always works, is CS or "Cable Select". If that doesn't work, try "Slave".

The hard part will be finding a place to put the dive inside the box. Not all cases make a provision for a second drive.

u need two jumbers for this
the 1st one for the master hard drive, u put it in the place marked with"master with slave present"
and the 2nd one in the slave hard drive"quantum" in the place marked "slave"
and u need to connect both hard drive to the same cable
if u gonna connect each 1 to a diff. cable then u don't need to put any jumbers at all "this is if u only havde hard drive with no CD or DVD drives"

On the both hard drives there are pins and on those pins should be a small black square cover you will have to move it on both units and make on a slave and the other the master.

it should show you on the drives where to place the cover.
