I don't think it matters to them ..... sometimes, they are better people than those who do not have a physical or mental disability

I think it probably depends on how severe their DS is.
I agree with the previous answer - Down's Syndrome people are special. They are the last of the innocents. We should all aspire to be more like them.

Probably. Personally, I feel that God compensated for their lesser IQ by giving them a GIGANTIC capacity for pure love. They are God's chosen ones.

There are different degrees of mental retardation, but yeah, most know something is different, even if they're not sure what it is.
