how to put a song in an ipod for free?
and can u put a song from cd to ipod?

Use the iTunes software. If you don' t have the CD that came with the iPod, you can download the software from www.iTunes.com. There are alternatives, but none of them pretty or fool-proof,.

If you have iTunes, every Tuesday (I think) they put a track up for free. You don't get to pick the song, but it is free. Besides, stealing music is wrong. Record executives have to get new boats, cars, wives... but I digress.

Assuming that by now you have installed iTunes, when you insert a CD to the drive, iTunes will ask if you want to import the songs and show an icon if you wish to import at a later time. Once it's done, drag the song to the icon for your iPod (you did plug that in to the USB port, right?).

Well putting songs into iPods from like limewire and stuff is illegal, but putting your cd into your iPod you pop in the cd iTunes should come up and I will say audio cd and import it.

You can put a cd on to your iPod by puting it in your computer and clicking on something that says audio cd and at the top of itunes it should say import and your all set.

Does your iPod comes with CD? There's iTunes and iPod to work and I prefer better for syncing is iTunes.
