I think it's the whole "mystery" around their lives and stuff. It's very stupid actually coz you don't really know them and you could easily be disapointed if you spent an hour with them. We,people, make the celebrities.Without us they'd be nothing. They should be excited to see us!

Well, technically you're right. They were nobody's and are still just normal humans. But you see, some set good examples for following dreams. they started out as a nobody and followed their dream of doing what they like to do, and now they're happy. For example, I'm a nobody who wants to be a singer, so I look up to the old 'nobodies' who actually became singers. See what I mean?

I've often wondered the same thing! It's almost sickening the way people drool when they see someone famous. I would've been that way when I was like 10, but not now. I don't get people who are so celebrity obsessed. To each his own I guess, but I just don't get it.

I have never understood that myself.....
they are just as full of CRAP as any body else.......
Once when I was in Amarillo Texas at a restaurant Lou Diamond Phillups was there and somebody recgnized him and went nuts.........
but he was kind of nice afterwards he went around to the tables and introduced himself and when he came to my table he said hi and then he picked up my Throw away camera (did not have a flash because it was outdoor use only) and pointed it at himself and took a picture.......
so that was neat but I have never ran over to a celebrity and begged them for anything. And I have seen a few of them in my time Living IN L.A.

I feel the same way, they are just people. I've had the opportunity to see lots of celebs living in Atlanta. You just have to keep things in perspective. A lot of them don't want the extra attention anyway, especially when they are out trying to do normal things that we non-celebs take for granted; like shopping at Wal-Mart or at the local grocery. Speak and keep it moving! Dag!

we are just interested in people that are the best of what they do . i would be just as exited to see dave chappelle as the fastest swimmer n the world ( whoever that is) it is inspiring to see someone exell in something , it is sad that most famous people are from movies and tv though , we need to make genious's and scientist famous
