ml is a liquid measure for cc. look at it this way. i cubic centimeter (cc) is a cube. that cube is one centimeter high, wide, and deep in all three directions. the cube is hollow and therefore filled with air. fill the cube with water and you now have one milliliter (ml). if the cube were 10 cc then filling it would give you 10ml. they are equivalent interchangeable terms.
