I think jbannister was confusing god with religion . My take is that he was trying to soothe the naysayers who are demanding evidence of god in the world,he had heart and great hair wish i could be that mad and brilliant. In a literal sense we can only see the subtlety of gods existence in the world with kind gestures just at the right time or coincidental happenings. Not many see big miracles but there are some things that cannot be explained by the methods we now use. so literally it works.

If God isn't malicious, then why did he roast Abraham's children? He was the first to believe in him, so to speak, and he went and barbecued them.

And what about what he did to Moses? He was in the desert for 40 years with them and God said, NOPE, YOU'RE NOT GETTING INTO HEAVEN.

Let's not even get into the numerous other things he's done.

So malicious, yes. Subtle, not so much. A new man -- which seemingly took anger management when Jesus was born -- absolutely.

I have no idea at all as to what you are trying to get across with this pseudo question.

I am aware that Einstein was the smartest man of his time-- and that he did believe in GOD.

The still small voice that is the voice of God means God makes statements subtly, quietly, effectly (if we listen), truthfully without pretense or intended harm. He doesn't put us down or criticize us because of the faults we have, our sins. He encourages us to ask Him to change us. There is a Scripture that I especially love in Psalms. "Forgive our hidden faults oh Lord, and keep your servant also from willful sins that they may not rule over me"

I don't read Einstein, he is over my head. He toyed around with ID. In that context, maybe he meant God set things up to run, but He does not specifically send hurricanes or other so called 'Acts of God'.??????????

I agree with Einstein. And I think the two of them were playing a trick on your keyboard for you trying to trick them... that's why the thing repeated repeated repeated....

:)))
