In general babies usually get their first tooth by six months, but it can be as late as sixteen months before the doctors really start to worry. Every baby grows and develops at their very own pace.
Some babies are even born with teeth, but they usually loose and have to be removed.

It generally starts around 4mos but I've heard of some children getting their 1st tooth around 9mos... my child is 8mos & has 8 teeth already.. differs from child to child but you'll notice the excessive drooling & possible elevated temperature... good luck
