Absolute bo**ocks...He's as bad as the previous tosser:::a big pile of sh*t.
The last episode was a total 'cop out', Rose should have been killed off, and there was far too much 'blubbing' at the end.
What about his past companions, there wasn't all this sentimentality when they left, didn't he give a sh*t about them then...

I wasn't sure at first but as time went on David grew on me. He's alittle darker than Christopher was but then he's a totally different actor. The beginning was very shaky with him in pj's and not doing anything and I nearly gave up but once he snapped out of it and began to really fill the shoes...he really filled the shoes.
As for getting on without Rose, my question is this...what is billy piper going to do now? From what I've heard none of the Dr. Who sidekicks ever do anything after the show and why in the world would she give up that role!!!??? Must be the blonde coming out in her.

It's become too much of a boy meets girl show (The reason they gave the role to a younger actor, David Tennant).
As opposed to being a sci-fi drama. Which is what it's supposed to be.

It took a few episodes, but I eventually got hooked. It's not your normal sci-fi series, but it was entertaining (from a British sense of humor point-of-view), and it was something new to watch. It's on my Tivo seaon pass. I'll probably Netflix it (if it's there).
As with most time-travelling, you can easily over analyze the technical detail and lose the entertainment value of the entire show.

It got better. But it needed to.
I got fed up with the constant Torchwood references, and thought too many of the special effects were reused from season one.
I like the new Doctor, but it remains to be seen if he can carry it without Rose.

I liked the original Dr Who. I can't stand the one that is on TV now.
