(some people say that screaming in a song isn't music... but i don't think that.)

I think it's ok. I'm a musician so I can see why people say that's bad. But I'm a singer and I'd REALLY like to do some Screamo Music. When I saw Panic!, 30 Seconds To Mars played. The singer (Jared Leto?) was going crazy! He climbed to the top of the pavilion! WOW! I say that kind of music is like saying "**** off Authourity!" But that music has to have at least SOME singing in it.

I like rock but sometimes it gets to the point where the screaming interferes with the meaning behind the song. That's what I don't like about it! Otherwise music is great and should be celebrated!♥

Yea, screaming gets annoying after about the first five seconds. I hate that when a song starts out with an awesome guitar riff and then is ruined by lack of melody in the vocals

I like loud music but I don't like the screaming. Sorry, but screaming is NOT music. Personally, those that scream do so because they don't have a good singing voice.

It depends, if the screaming is in tune and has a lot of passion to it, I don't have a problem with it. I'm loving Rockstar Supernova so far, have you seen it? The screaming is a form of musical expression.

It is just a matter of taste.

No, there are actually songs I like where the singer screams melodiously- now THAT is great!

I've seen people edge out of a club where a heavy metal band with three screaming bandmembers was playing, though. Real funny.

My boyfriend listens to heavy metal, and I can't stand it.. it's too loud, gives me a headache, you can't really dance or sing along to it, you can't have it playing and still have a conversation (it's not good "background music") and I just all around don't like the sound of it.

i hate it. i mean it defens you , it is pointless because i just wana listen to a song with people who can sing in TUNE. but when people start shouting i just thin that it ruins the whole song and a waste of time and money.
