I'm with Italy. Because I'm Italian and because they have convinced me that they are a good team.
I'm Italian, but not blind. I saw them play very bad against the USA, and not so well against Australia. Granted, both matches were messed up by red cards -- for Italy, a very well deserved one in the USA match, and an unjustified one in the Australia match.
Other than that, however, they managed to defeat Ghana (who beat the Czech Republic, the USA and gave Brazil a hard time) 2-0, the Czech Republic 2-0, Ukraine 3-0 and Germany, in a superb semifinal, 2-0.
10 different players have scored those goals, showing that Italy is a good team full of individuals that can make a difference anytime. So, it doesn't matter if Toni isn't scoring as he used to and we currently don't have a golden striker.
Buffon in the goal has been amazing, as well as Cannavaro, great defender and playmaker.
Those who say Italy is there by luck are either envious, or don't know anything about football.
They think that Ghana, the Czech Republic and Ukraine were easy teams. Ghana proved to be a surprise, the Czechs have a strong team with a good goalie and guys who play internationally, like Janculovskii and Pavel Nedved, who was a golden ball, and Ukraine had another world class champion, Andriy Shevchenko.
The penalty against Australia, granted, was controversial. But the Aussies couldn't make a difference even when Italy was a man down, so nobody can be 100% sure that they would have won.

France is a good team also -- I am a true football lover, so I won't bash other teams. They really are, lots of champions among them, especially Zinedine Zidane, who also is a great playmaker. Many will argue that they don't deserve to be in the final based on their disappointing performance in the group play. Who cares, they got to the quarterfinals, woke up at the right moment and sent Spain and Brazil home.

Most likely France because France won Italy during Euro cup 2000; however, Italy is also my favorite too and it as chance to win too. In a way its a 50/50% chance for both teams.

Forza Italia! Because... well, because they're my preference.
For me, it's like a fight between languages. I've been taking French in school, then this year I realized I hated it and wanted to switch to Italian, though it's not offered at school. So now I've been teaching myself. Anyway, the World Cup is the fight between those languages. They're fighting for me! Just joking-- I'm having fun with it.

I hope Italy wins! I don't care for the French: they have been over hyped. They should have lost to Brazil if Brazil did not have their "day-off" that night.
