why do black men prefer white women?

seems these days black men seem to be more attracted to white women. This I think is just great , but is it because they are tired of playing mind games with women of there own race?

I think it has something to do with American Society. The American dream is to be wealthy. Everyone tries to acclimate cars, latest fashions, etc. to prove their wealth. Some how, white women have become part of that acquired wealth. I also think that the media tends to put white women on a pedestal in America. A white woman will generally be seen more beautiful than a black woman. Not to mention white women get away with more things. Ex: A white woman is aggressive in the work force, she's confidant. A black woman is aggressive in the work force, she's a *****. I'm not trying to diss white women, after all I'm half white too and I don't mind it if a black man dates a white woman. But I would like to see a black man date a black woman every once in a while too. In fact, I like to see men of OTHER races date a black woman once in a while. Black women get no respect.

I disagree.
Black men have always had a level of attraction for white women I just think that both sides are comfortable dating each other now and that's why it seems more common.
Although I have to say that most of my friends DO NOT date white women.

I have talked with black women before on this. This is kinda a conglomerate answer I pieced together.
Modern black families are a matriarchal society, and white families are patriarchal. Black men like white women because they "get to be the boss".
I do believe there is genuine affection and love as in most relationships, so please don't jump on me for predjudice statements, but that is a factor I heard about.

You've got to be kidding! Please, don't kid yourself!!! The truth of the matter is that most Black men prefer the company and fulfilling love of Black women. That is why they most often marry Black women. Some Black men do prefer white women, due to the brainwashing that they have been bombarded with, in this society, over what the standard of beauty is ... the ultra-white, blond headed, blue eyed, thin lipped, rail thin female. Some Black men have actually brought into that myth. However, that particular standard does not hold true for every man, which is why the plastic surgery industry is making a killing off of white women, plumping-up their lips, butt, and breasts to achieve the natural look, more and more, like her Black counterpart.

Far more commotion is made over the Black male/white female relationships than there is when the roles are reversed. Many white men prefer Black women and go out of their way to establish relationships with Black women, but no one is ranting and raving over this type of relationship dynamic. Perhaps, the reason for that is because it is not uncommon or forbidden in this white male dominated society for white men to take whatever woman he chooses (and he chooses Black women quite often ... always have since times of slavery in America). By the same token, it was once forbidden for white women to love, marry, or have sexual relations with Black men. White males and gone out of their way to ensure that white women would never engage in sexual activities with Black men to the point of making it illegal in this country. To the point of lynching and killing both the Black man and the white female who was caught engaged in this sort of activity. If she went ahead and engaged in sexual activities with Black men anyway, she was labeled a "sl*t" and even to this day is thought of, in white America, as not being good enough or "good looking" enough for white men to be attracted to. She is marginalized by white America and considered a race traitor.

Even with all of that, white women STILL LOVE Black men. She still wishes to experience that earth-shuddering love-making that only the Brothers can provide. LOL!

well most people likes new experiences and s not only black males but Hispanics and Asians too as well as white males but in this case is not only the black male who likes the white women but most white women like black males and they go for it , i think is good for us whites and for the black people as well dint you notice that kids from those relationships become more good looking and desirable by all others when they become adults.
