most of it can be attributed to immaturity and selfishness. When your immature, you lack the discipline to carry out your responsibilities regardless of what you'd *like* to do. Many people remain driven by gratification, so they do what they want rather than what they need.

LAZINESS is among the primary attributes of being irresponsible.

it starts as a kid when parents over spoil and under disapline.
this starts a person off thinking they have to take no responsabilaty for what they do and others just do not care
