Mapleguy, and anyone else who beleives the sun shall go supernova, that is a long rejected theory. The sun doesmnt have the kind of mass to go supernova.

Forgive these people. The true death of earth, and the sun:

The sun is 4.5 billion years old scientists estimate. The sun eventually, in 4.5 billion years, swell into a red giant. It will expand very far, and the earth will be engulped. Plant life will die, the earth will become dry, and very few organisms will survive. Eventually, the heat will evaporate the atmoshpere away. The sun might swallow up the earth, and the earth will be devoured and broken apart from gravity if im correct.

We dont have to worry though, since by then, anyone living here will be fried and baked to death...and we will have polluted the world anyway.

And the bible has little to do with anstronomy. Please dont go into religion with pure science.

I believe what the Bible says about the matter at Psalms 93:1 and 96:10 and Ecclesiastes 1:4 - that it won't be destroyed.

After all, if God created the earth, there has to be a reason for it -Psalm 37:11,29.

The other scriptures in the Bible that talk about the "new heavens and earth" being destroyed (Revelation 21:1 and Isaiah 66:22) are using different words that are actually referring to human rulerships/governments and their followers.

i'm surely uncertain of what you have become at. If he had destroyed the universe precise of the bat, then we does no longer be here now might we (conversing from a christian perspective). additionally, I easily have on no account in all my years of church and being a member of a Christian kinfolk, been decrease than the impact that he had any purpose of destroying all of it (he tried that once, you recognize, with the flood, it grew to become right into a manner of beginning over, plus he hasn't executed something like it when you consider that. ) Adam and Eve have been given yet another hazard, exterior of paradise. devil, is a fallen angel, and whilst he and god are not precisely acquaintances, he's the single that punishes people who god deems wicked or unworthy of heaven. ultimately, god won't destroy the international, we are able to. God gave us all unfastened will and the kit to stay life good, and unfortunatly we take that with no attention. We human beings, by way of fact we tend to be egocentric and don't guard what we've been given, may be the tip of the earth. IMHO.

the world will be destroyed, yes. It will probably be destroyed when God has realized that we have turned so badly away from Him, like He did using the flood. I think that God will destroy the earth, then might create a new one for another chance to be the undivided leader and supporter of the people. If we believe in Jesus Christ and repent tho, we will be able to reside in heaven after the last judgment.

In a few billion years, the Sun will burn itself out. Whether mankind is still around at the time is doubtful, but that's when the earth will cease to exist as a planet.

But as you surmise, it will continue to exist as particles dispersed throughout the galaxy and eventually beyond.
