The question you propose would involve a dissertation to answer, I'm afraid.

Aristotle's Poetics, Longinus' On the Sublime, Horace's Ars Poetica, and Richards' Principles of Literary Criticism aren't really texts that one can distill down to a single position or stand without being extremely reductive.

And that assumes that one could boil down their critical opinions from those books alone, which is probably unwise to begin with.
