List some Japanese horror movies. i heard they are more scary than english movies.?

a good chinese horror film that scared me was one called "The Eye"

The Eye (there is a newer English version of this starring Jessica Alba as well) is a good one. The Host, not Japanese, but still Asian horror. Ekusute or Exte: Hair Extensions is my all-time favorite horror movie. Also, Audtion is a good psychological thriller also in the J-Horror classification. Hope you enjoy, I have seen lots in film classes, but these are the top in my opinion. I personally though Darkwater was kind of boring and not scary, but everyone has different taste. I wasn't all that scared by the English version of The Ring's either, so you may like it if you liked those.

Generally, Japanese films can be very laughable. They're usually not good actors, they use as much blood as possible, and the plot is always rather "out there". If you're jumpy you might find them scary, but I can't even watch the X-Files without being scared but love to laugh at Japanese horror flicks.
I would suggest Ichi the Killer, Suicide Circle, Battle Royale 1, and Audition.
Audition (or "Odishon") is not really very scary and nothing gruesome happens until the last five minutes. It's very subtle, but you may like it. I didn't.

Im answering only in the hopes that you might know what Im talking about because I can't remember the name of the movie... It is about a group of young school girls in a suicide club who all get together over the internet and on their cell phones and meet at train stations (and other places) and all join hands and kill themselves all at the same time. I havent been able to find a copy (Because I can't remember the damn name and try googling this description and see what you get.) but I hear it is absolutely discusting from the first 5 minutes... Kind of like Saw but in a detective/horror/mystery kind of way.
