There are many ways. Go to your local library and ask the reference librarian. There is a home business magazine, but I didn't think it was very good. You can search in a periodicals index for articles on home businesses and pick out the best ones. There are probably books as well.

I have a home business which I can't describe, but it is something like providing food to street fairs. eBay didn't work for me and setting up web sites didn't either. Medical billing has worked for a friend.
