To answer this question Properly I need to know a few things....
what is his record?
his era?
I do not think any body deserves to be on an all star team unless they are putting up good consistent numbers for the year they are on the team...........
Some of the players Voted in by the fans do not deserve to be there they are only on the team because they are popular.....
I do not like the fact that you can be on the team as a starter and be hitting .250 or lower with not many RBI's or Homeruns.....
Or a 7-7 pitcher with a mediocre ERA...........
Like Vladimir Gurrero for example His average has dropped to the low 290s from 335 and 17 home runs and he is a starter.....
Don't get me wrong I love Guerrero and the ANGELS but I am not sure he deserves to be starting.....
There are others out there that deserve to start and did not get the votes........

Absolutely. 10-3 record, 3.5 ERA, 108ks, 23 BB 3.5 era... though with that said. I would rather have no Yankees in the mid summer classic, and a world series ring.
