Well I can't speak for anyone except me, I'm here because I find it interesting, all the different ways people can look at the same question. All the varied some good some insane ways they answer the questions. These weren't the reasons I started on this site tho!
I started because after 52 years of pushing hard and always taking everything to the limit and beyond. I suddenly found myself crippled for life. Reading other peoples fears and concerns helps me look past my condition!

Well that would include you then, wouldn't it? I'm here because it's interesting to observe people and how their minds work, and hopefully I can actually help someone or make someone smile for a moment. I have plenty of other things I do with myself throughout the day, so if this site wasn't here I'd be okay. So if you think none of us have a life then go find something else to do.

I agree that a lot of people on this site do not have lives, but I'm sure that there are a lot of other people, like me, who get on yahoo questions because their lives are hectic and they want to take a break without falling asleep or watching TV. So yeah, I guess that I left my hectic life for a little while, but I'm going right back to it in a little while.
