Mercedes-Benz...since it's owned by DaimlerChrystler it's an American company with a division headquarters in Germany...other U.S companies have plants in Germany though.

if they have headquarters in Germany, then they are not american....companies based there who have wide spread operations here are adidas, seimans and all the car cos like BMW and Mercedez
